PAPSS monitoring
How Inject Group Ltd’s Nexus engine is designed to watch IMTO and wholesale legs that clear or net over PAPSS — latency, fail rates, and message completeness — without claiming to operate PAPSS itself.
PAPSS reduces the need for USD correspondent chains on intra-African trade and remittances. Supervisors still need an independent view of what IMTOs and banks submit, how long settlement takes, and where FX conversion happens off-switch.
Nexus adaptors are designed to parse ISO 20022-style clearing messages, compare them with IMTO front-end instructions, and flag capital-flight patterns that bypass PAPSS entirely. Pair with CBN IMTO oversight for Nigeria-facing corridors.
Procurement questions
Is Nexus the PAPSS switch?
No. PAPSS is Afreximbank’s pan-African payment and settlement system. Nexus is OEM telemetry that can subscribe to or reconcile against PAPSS-related messages.
